Maptech, Inc. is the largest private publisher and distributor of paper and electronic raster nautical charts in the US.
After working with the company on numerous brand and website projects, Maptech approached us for help redesigning their corporate site. They wanted their online presence to better reflect their cutting-edge technology and range of capabilities while making it easier for visitors to find what they needed.
We created a sleek new site design highlighting their marine, land, aviation and GIS services and created a logical navigation structure to make these and other offerings easily accessible from the home page. Images were also used extensively to make it simple for visitors quickly identify what they needed from a vast array of products.
In addition, we completely overhauled the eCommerce store to increase sales of products, presenting large amounts of information in a clean and simple format that didn't get in the way of people ordering online. The project was then turned over to their internal team to implement the design.
